Privacy
Tascly privacy
Simple information about how Tascly handles data. The goal is to keep the app clear for users and consistent with Google Play Data Safety.
Data saved in the app
Data entered in the vault is saved locally on the device and encrypted with the password chosen by the user.
Tascly does not require an account and does not store the vault on a Tascly server.
Backup
The backup is an encrypted file generated by the user. The same password is required to open it. Without both password and backup, the vault cannot be recovered.
Changing phone: export the backup, check it, move the file to the new phone and import it with the same password. Attached photos are included in the encrypted backup.
Feedback
If you use the Feedback section, the text you write is sent through Formspree only when you press Send feedback. Email is optional and only used to reply to you. Do not send passwords, IBANs, real tax IDs, document photos or sensitive data in feedback.
What to avoid
Tascly is not a password manager and is not made for PINs, 2FA codes or high-risk secrets. For passwords, PINs, 2FA codes and credentials, use dedicated tools. Use care with full documents and sensitive health data.
Limits
Tascly protects the local vault with the chosen password, but the user must still keep the password and backup safe. If the device or browser is compromised, no local app can guarantee complete protection.
Clear protection: local practical data, no account, no cloud sync, no advertising trackers, manual encrypted backup.
